An easy fix for the NP-20 November 10, 2008 Gianna (UT) My NP 20 gave me the flashing red light of death and I got Casio to replace it. Then I had the same problem with my second NP 20 so I dug around for a way to fix it and I found the following advice on a site called FixYa. It worked instantly and I didn't risk ruining my battery. ylu1 writes: I had the same problem as this. what i did was... i kept putting the battery on the charger then took it off as soon as the red light came on. i did this about 6 times. doing this puts a bit of charge in the battery each time before the charger starts to flash. after the battery as got enough charge in it it can start to charge. hope this helps.
Great replacement for old battery. October 29, 2008 A. Polat (Reston, VA) This battery is a replacement for the default battery the camera came with. There is no difference between the two and the battery life is excellent.
Battery is fine - charger was defective October 24, 2008 Anne Michele Clay (Florida) I ordered this ion battery as a replacement for the one in my husband's new Casio EX-Z75 camera because the one that came with the camera wouldn't charge. The new battery didn't charge either. Based on two phone calls to Casio, we had to go with the unbelievable assumption that both batteries were bad. In desperation, I purchased an inexpensive replacement battery (not Casio brand), and on the slim chance that the charger that came with the camera was in some way defective, I also ordered an inexpensive car/home charger with good reviews. LO AND BEHOLD, batteries 2 and 3 charged and work perfectly. Now I'm kicking myself for throwing the original battery away, since there was probably nothing wrong with it. Moral of the story: make sure your charger is working properly before you get mad at the battery.
casio battery October 2, 2008 ANNA MARIA (brasil) Hello, I'm not satisfied with this purchase because I bougth an original casio battery and recieved a similar one .... Seller should have asked if I wanted it istead of sending . I do not recomend buying from this seller.
Mfr Battery as Expected September 30, 2008 Savvy Consumer (NYC) I received a new, genuine Casio Exlim replacement battery as advertised and in a tinely manner. The battery fit properly and as of now is working properly. I have read many complaints about the longevity but that remains to be seen. The original one that came with the camera only lasted 1 year.
